Underwriting and Claims Administrator
Independent global (Re)Insurance company with excellent reputation in the market.
To support both the underwriting and claims departments in their daily activities. The primary responsibilities being the data capture of case information on the relevant computer systems.
·Create and update entries within underwriting and claims databases.
·Check inforce data details of any existing policies.
·Monitor and action the filing/storage of underwriting and claims files.
·Assist in the chasing up of clients' outstanding claims information.
·Assist the underwriting and claims managers with the production of weekly, monthly and annual MI and exception reports.
·When necessary, assist in organising seminars and training courses and produce the supporting documentation for these events.
·Support underwriting and claims with telephone call handling and the taking and passing on of messages where appropriate
·Where necessary, provide assistance to Administration Department in updating Claims data and the accumulation database
Key experience:
·Essential: A minimum of 2-3 years experience in an administrative role with a preference for insurance industry experience.
·Accurate data input of clients' cases on a daily basis
·Ability to work on one's own
·Providing excellent customer service
