Goldhawk Associates are supporting an established Firm of Chartered Accountants in the West Kent region who is looking to appoint a VAT Manager/Director to join their Management team. They are a sizable Firm with a varied client base from owner managed businesses to large high net worth individuals and trusts. They are looking to appoint a VAT specialist to lead their consulting arm and work with their client base to develop and grow this area of the business. This role would sit within a strong tax team with a wealth of experience; you will work alongside approximately 25 like-minded staff. The Firm have a strong ethos and offer a good work life balance and are looking for someone who can sit within an experienced manage team who are working together to ensure the continued success of the firm and its service offering..

You will be responsible for managing and developing staff and interacting with the internal business partners within the firm in order to promote VAT and build on this business area. You will be tasked with working with the Firms current client base to promote VAT services at the same time as promoting these services externally and bringing in new business.

Ideally this role would suit someone who has worked in a VAT consultancy capacity, someone with previous management and business development expertise. This is a key role within the Firm and an exciting opportunity in the Kent market.
