We are looking to recruit a Health and safety advisor to visit client sites and develop a Health & Safety management system. You will also be carrying out Site Safety Audits/ Inspections as well as carrying some safety training on sites. The successful candidate will hold NEBOSH (General, Construction), have previous experience working as a Health & Safety Advisor, although this position would be office based in Medway area you will be required to travel into London

Health & Safety Advisors Responsibilities and Duties:
• To assist clients with the development of a Health & Safety management system (policies, safe systems of work, risk assessments, accident investigation and reporting, etc)
• To conduct Fire Risk assessments, site inspections (including construction sites) and give detailed reports of findings with recommendations for the client to implement
• To manage a client base, including recurring appointments, document reviews & updates, etc
• To provide Health & Safety training to clients (Fire Awareness, Manual Handling, etc)
• To assist clients with Health & Safety accreditation schemes such as CHAS, SMAS, Safe Contractors, etc

Health & Safety Consultant Experience and Qualifications required:
• Experience working within Construction (essential)
• Experience working within a construction environment & CDM regulations
NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 & ISO 45001 standards
• Have a willingness to travel to other UK locations, with occasional overnight stay
• Have a smart and professional demeanour
• Full UK Driving License
