McGeachy Garden Design are looking for experienced soft landscapers and gardeners to work on existing and new gardens and projects. In return great rates of pay as well as the opportunity to work in amazing gardens are on offer.

McGeachy Garden Design specialises in creating instant mature gardens for discerning clients across the South East of England.  Successful applicants will need to have good communication skills, be punctual, well mannered, presentable and experienced in domestic and commercial gardens. Most projects are in Kent with some projects in South East London and further afield as needed.

We are looking for someone with a positive, happy and approachable personality, a passion for horticulture and great communication skills. You will be able to work to a high standard, reflecting a sense of pride and ownership in your work.  You should be able to think intuitively and not only maintain but develop and improve gardens for residential and commercial clients.

Applicants will require the following:-
•     Good experience in practical horticulture,
•     Formal horticulture qualifications are an advantage but not essential, as are any certifications in the industry
•     Display a real passion for gardening
•     Some knowledge of plants, pruning, lawn care as well as pests and disease advantageous.
•     A friendly client focused attitude 
•     To be well presented and extremely reliable and punctual 
•     To be able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and authority

You should be confident using a wide range of Gardening Machinery including ride on mowers, rotary and cylinder mowers, hedge cutters, strimmers, and chainsaws.  Experience of plant machinery such as excavators, dumpers and telehandlers is advantageous.

For the right applicants, great rates of pay, accommodation for projects further afield and the potential to progress in an exciting and successful company are available   Working week is Monday to Friday with the possibility of overtime at weekends. Applicants will be hired on a self employed basis initially.
