The role: Porchlight are currently recruiting an experienced painter and decorator to be based in Canterbury. As part of the Maintenance Team you will be primarily responsible for meeting the painting maintenance requirements in supported accommodation projects across Kent. The position is fulltime Monday to Friday for a fixed term of 3 months initially. You must be confident to work on your own with minimum supervision.

Primary Duties

Minor general maintenance and making good.
Preparation of surfaces to be painted.
Determine what materials will be needed to complete the job.
Interior painting to a high standard.

What you need:

All applicants must:

Provide evidence of significant and recent painting experience.
Provide a reference for experience in a similar role.
Be proficient with a variety of products to produce a high quality finish.
Have their own vehicle as transportation of materials to a variety of sites is essential for the role.
