Procurement Officer
Crossways, Dartford
Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: Up to £38,103 per annum

Moat is one of the top 30 housing associations in the UK with 20,000 homes spread across south east London, Kent, Essex and Sussex and we continue to develop new homes at an impressive rate too – last year we delivered 664 and we are aiming for another 3,000 by 2020. Our ambition is simple - to bring an end to housing need.
We have recently celebrated our 50th year and spent the last 12 months raising over £70k for charities selected by staff – smashing the £50k target. What does a Procurement Officer do?
You will administer the contracts register, efficiency savings tracker and conduct key supplier health checks. Additionally, you will work closely with key stakeholders in developing and distributing management reports including but not limited to: CPC reviews, efficiency savings, analysis of spend and supplier invoicing.
Supporting the delivery of procurement activity at all levels, you will take the lead as directed with the aim of demonstrating value for money, successful delivery of services and compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. You will also support the delivery of procurement projects including those for critical and strategic contracts.
As a Procurement Officer, you will need to have a good understanding of contract law and contract management. Additionally, you will have working knowledge of OJEU legislation and procurement practices. In your current or previous role you will have developed experience in supporting successful supplier negotiations and supplier on boarding, as well as leading on OJEU and non OJEU procurement tenders (supported by 1-2 years practical experience).
