Russell Publishing is currently looking for an experienced Telesales Executive to join its Delegate Sales team.

The role is to work within a Delegate Sales department to generate sales and delegate bookings for Russell Publishing B2B events through cold-calling, following up in-coming leads and generating interest and awareness through networking.

Food Brexit www.newfoodmagazine.com/food-brexit/
Intelligent Transport www.intelligenttransport.com/intelligent-transport-conference/
Digital Rail Revolution www.globalrailwayreview.com/digital-rail-revolution/
Airport IT & Security www.internationalairportreview.com/it-security/

Key Skills:
• Proven telesales experience, ideally within events/ media sector but not essential
• High level of communication skills, both written and oral
• Excellent interpersonal skills – for both internal and external contacts
• Reliable, diligent and conscientious – presenting a high level of professionalism to clients and colleagues
• A creative approach is beneficial to undertake research to source and generate leads
• Competitive and ambitious in hitting targets and KPIs
• A Customer-focused and ability to problem-solve effectively

Main Duties:
• Develop new business through telephone calls and other media options to expand client base and increase sales
• Identify and develop relationships with potential new clients through research
• Gain a sound understanding of the event core subject matter and provide insight and market feedback to the wider event team; research current and upcoming industry events
• Follow up on marketing efforts to convert prospects into attendees
• Consistently meet and exceed delegate registration targets on your allocated events
• Maintain and further develop strong working relationships with new and existing clients
• Attendance at relevant exhibitions/conferences with international travel as required
• On-site duties at the event(s) as required

Russell Publishing is a family run publishing and conference business producing international B2B magazines and conferences within the transport, science and food industry.

The company was established in 1992 and is based in a rural setting between Sevenoaks and Westerham with limited public transport so a car is essential for travel.
