UK Operations Manager - Job Description

ID&C is an established award-winning business based in Tunbridge Wells. We supply wristbands and accreditation to some of the world’s largest music festivals and sporting events. Our company is quickly expanding, and we are seeking talented individuals to join our fast-paced organisation, offering plenty of growth potential.

ID&C has 3 x 3,000 sf units in Tunbridge Wells and a 15,000 sf facility in Florida, USA. We invest in the latest print technology and R&D alongside running a slick operation on both sites to service over 10,000 clients in over 100 different countries.

We are looking for a high energy Operations Manager to jump on the pathway of being a senior manager in our Group of companies.

The UK Operations Manager (OM) will be responsible for the Operations and Production of the UK business. The OM will be the bridge of communication between internal departments such as Sales, Operations, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Despatch and Finance. The OM will also assume line management responsibility for the Operations & Production and Warehouse Despatch teams within the company, which now is about 12 + permanent staff and regular temporary staff during busy periods.

The OM will also be responsible for liaising with the US VP of operations to ensure smooth transfer and hand off, of all inter company operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the UK operations budget
• Managing Fulfilment
• Managing and overseeing all Print output
• Managing the end to end Goods in / Goods out
• Daily, Weekly and annual planning / Capacity /resource management
• Facilitating business demands whilst maintaining efficiency and cost control.
• Management of permanent and temporary staff within the warehouse and factory.
• Managing and overseeing stock control including supervision of regular stock takes
• Recording and improvement of wastage, stock movements etc.
• Overseeing COSHH Regulations etc.
• Control of production and warehouse KPIs
• Develop new starter induction program

Experience:
• 5+ years’ experience in a sales leadership/management role, Managing teams of 10+ people
• Demonstrable track record of improving performance
• Planning / Production Scheduling
• Experience of using Operating Systems. Developing processes and effecting change
