An exciting opportunity has become available in the Production Department for several Night Shift Skilled Processing Machine Operators to work on a new operating machine producing rice pouches and reporting to the Production Manager. The main purpose of these roles is to ensure the smooth and safe running of food production lines whilst achieving previously established targets.

Plant is currently in commission with roles commencing now for training and full production scheduled to run from mid-July 2018.

Working hours:
• Rotating 4 on 4 off shifts
• Fixed nights - 18:00 hours to 06:00 hours
• Unpaid breaks of 1.5 hours per day, flexible due to production

Experience Required:
• Working within the food sector
• Plant and machine Operations
• Working with software operated machinery and high productive machines
• Maintenance and cleaning on machines requiring assembly
Knowledge Required:
• A certificate in basic food hygiene
• Safe manual handling practices
• Some previous mechanical knowledge would be advantageous
• Awareness on importance of following procedures
• IT literate, previous experience of working with software operated machines
Skills Required:
• Health and safety awareness skills
• High interest on welfare of machines under its care
• Attention to detail
• The ability to follow instructions and use own initiative
• Excellent communication skills
