Due to continuing expansion we are recruiting a technical systems estimator to assist our ever-growing sales team.
Candidates will be expected to have a proven track record in Estimating systems comprising of (but not limited) to Fire Alarm, PAVA, CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry Systems, Intruder Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Networking and Automatic Doors.
Candidates must have excellent attention to detail and will be familiar with BS 5839, BS6266, BS5839, NCP 104, NCP 109, BS4737/PD662, BS 7036, BS 7671, BS9999 Standards.
Candidates are required to have as a minimum FIA Unit 1 Fire Detection Design accreditation and preferably units 2&3: advanced detection design and advanced alarm design.
(CV's from estimating engineers with previous experience on the disciplines above will be accepted)

Responsibilities
All Applicants will be expected to:
• Communicate with TechniFire solutions staff, customers and public via email and telephone
• Estimate accurately works in line with company pricing policy
• Follow and Understand all processes flowcharts laid out in the QMS
• Understand all disciplines and services carried out by the company
• Be competent at estimating all types of systems and compiling information to admin and
managerial staff.
• Estimate different systems from a supplied CAD Drawing(s), Specification or equivalent
• Create specifications and estimates from supplied build up sheets or site surveys
• Understand regulations pertaining to all disciplines undertaken by the company
• Attend Management and team meetings when required & present details on projects estimated
• Create program of works from estimates issued / specifications / engineering
• Assist in compiling tender submissions
• Understand the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 2005 & how to apply it to systems proposals
• Understand Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors gaining competitive pricing
• Negotiate with Mechanical and Electrical contractors to establish satisfactory pricing
• Support the Sales Manager in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
• Responsible for keeping up with necessary British Standards Statutory & Code updates
• Ensuring all quotes and estimates undertaken meet company accreditations & policy directives
• Promote and maintain company H&S culture
• Ensure all tasks have been completed in a timely, professional and detailed manner
• Ensure customer service levels are maintained to the highest standards at all times

All personnel employed within TechniFire Solutions Ltd are asked to recognise that, as a service industry company, it is sometimes necessary for the team members to undertake duties outside of those within their normal role.
