A position has arisen for an experienced second chef to assist our head chef at Sene Valley Golf Club.
The candidate must be able to work flexible hours, although only a limited number of evenings are required.
Due to location own transport would be beneficial.
No split shifts will be required.
Experience of the industry is necessary.
Must have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a small team under the guidance of the head chef.
Must maintain high presentation standards in yourself and your food, and work in a clean and organised manner.
Working with health and safety regulations and complying with licencing laws.
Assisting with all kitchen duties such as cooking, preparing, ordering stock, controlling wastage and cleaning is all part of the job.
A passion for the industry with a proactive approach to creating dishes for our seasonal menus.
A positive approach to developing and show responsibility when needed.
Working efficiently with others and excellent communication skills are a must.
Pay is negotiable dependent upon age and experience to be discussed at Interview.
