We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Swan Mill due to retirement. As a Warehouse Supervisor on the Night Shift, you will report to the Warehouse Manager.

A Warehouse Supervisor is a responsible individual who is task orientated. The right person for this Night Shift role, will be a well organised individual, who has the ability to maintain the efficient running of the warehouse. You will have the strength of character to be able to manage a group of individuals, utilising good and effective communication skills. This to ensure that customer’s orders are fulfilled on time and to a consistently high quality standard. This is to be achieved by coaching, encouraging to obtain maximum productivity from warehouse operatives across a the respective shift, objective all deliveries “On time and in full". In conjunction with your Manager you will work closely with Logistics & Manufacturing colleagues to ensure that despatch deadlines are attained. Display good organisational skills ensuring that the correct staff is deployed to the appropriate activity so as to ensure optimum efficiency. Develop strong focus on stock integrity and work closely with our Logistics, Manufacturing & Prod Planning depts. to ensure stock integrity is attained & maintained.

You will be fully conversant with Health and Safety Procedures and Risk Assessments. Ideally you will be fully conversant with the requirements of supply within a quality management system {BRC} British Retail Consortium. You will be fully experienced and hold licenses for Mechanical Handling equipment, Counterbalance Fork Lift, Reach Truck etc. this is an operational role and will require the individual to work with the team they manage. We require someone with at least 2 yrs experience in a warehouse preferably within an FMCG background, demonstrable evidence of ability to work and coach a team, the ability to work under pressure and to take the initiative when required. Only candidates with this expertise need apply. The hours are 10 pm to 6 am Monday to Thursday and 6 pm to 1.30 on Friday/Saturday.
