My Client, involved in property and project management, is now looking to recruit an experienced, committed and enthusiastic Contracts Manager to manage several Contracts across Kent, co-ordinating the delivery of services and building standards to operational buildings. You will manage new contracts and take responsibility for ensuring the Contractors deliver.

You will also be responsible for developing effective working relationships with all the Stakeholders and Partners - and suppliers -reviewing and managing supplier performance and standards, ensuring technical\statutory compliance and data integrity, ensuring accurate billing and payment of invoices/deductions, measuring and evidencing efficiencies and value delivered by the Contracts.



The Role: PFI Contracts Manager

Support the Head of Facilities Management to develop the delivery strategy for PFI Contracts and day to day estates and service delivery across Kent.

Show leadership and strong management to oversee the effective management of staff ensuring that all property assets are dealt with.

Be accountable for, and develop, delivery strategies to ensure that the portfolios meet its KPI's and commercial/performance.

Lead on the provision of effective supply chain and contract management

Deliver the distinct, but aligned, disciplines of category management, contract management and supplier management, in relation to the PFI contracts.

Ensure delivery of PFI supplier services to time, cost and quality in line with contracts - including effective measurement, reporting and management of supplier performance

Take ownership for ensuring technical compliance through audit, checks and verification.

Work with PFI suppliers to ensure that they provide maximum input, value quality and support in meeting the Asset Management Plan targets and other business objectives - including for example energy/utilities savings measures, and benchmarking of services as defined in the contracts.



Skills / Qualifications / Experience: PFI Contracts Manager

Educated to degree level in a building related field or equivalent

Proven track record in PFI contract management and supply chain management

Proven track record in managing supplier performance

Experience of managing technical staff

Construction / facilities Management

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Commercial acumen

Negotiating skills

Strong leadership skills

Budget management

Procurement regulations
