Hornby Hobbies brand portfolio encompasses Hornby model railways, Scalextric slot car racing, Airfix plastic kits, Humbrol specialist paints and Corgi diecast, along with a number of internationally renowned model railway brands.

We are seeking to recruit a Head of QA to manage a small team that includes Quality & Compliance, Spares & Repairs.

The Head of QA is responsible for quality assurance and compliance processes and requirements across the whole organisation. They will analyse, develop and deliver processes and practices to ensure that our products are developed to functional and performance requirements.

The post holder will be responsible for working closely with our suppliers both UK based and internationally to ensure governance of our design and manufacturing process, ensuring consistent start-to-finish QA support of all products, as well as coordinating with all internal stakeholders to improve QA delivery at all stages of product development.

This post is a senior position within the organisation, providing expertise and guidance whilst working collaboratively with the various development teams. In this role, the post holder will be required to analyse existing QA practices and provide solutions aimed at increasing quality throughout our brand range.
