About the role: Calling all recent Graduates! Are you confident in your Maths ability? Do you feel you can support our students in this subject area, building their confidence and enjoyment? Strood Academy are seeking to appoint an experienced Faculty Assistant for Maths who will be responsible for supporting the work of the Faculty Leader and to provide cover supervision across the academy, working with groups of students and administrative work within the faculty. This role is ideal for someone who is confident within this subject specialism and who thrives on responsibility as this role is key in the successful operation of the department, and for those considering a career in teaching as this role will provide excellent exposure to a classroom environment.

The working basis is 32.5 hours per week during Term Time with an extra two weeks during the year. The actual salary, dependent on experience, is between £14,154 - £18,091 which is pro rated from a full time equivalent salary of £18,672 - £23,866.
