The Black Horse Inn is looking to recruit another full time kitchen porter to join our team of 4 kitchen porter/assistants. The role is full time to include mid week lunchtimes, evenings and weekends up to 35 hours per week, there will be some food prep involved so applicants with basic food hygiene certificates are an advantage but this training will be given. The successful applicant will also work in the wedding function area kitchen as well as the main restaurant kitchen and ability to adapt to the different workplaces is essential, along with willingness to help out with glass collecting during large functions. You will have at least 3 evenings off per week and one weekend off per month pro-rata.
We have a fast past busy kitchen so you will need a good degree of physical fitness.
We are not on public transport routes so your own transport is essential as there are no bus or train stations within a reasonable walking distance. We offer 5.5 weeks holiday per year, a share of the weekly gratuities and also company pension scheme.
