Great Opportunity for a Building Control Officer to join our client based in Dartford for a 3 month Contract offering £18-£20ph
This position will require in depth experience in the application and operation of Building Control activities including plan checking and site inspections on Residential, Commercial and Industrial work.
You will be expected to visit and inspect construction sites and dangerous structures - therefore a suitable degree of mobility and the ability to work at heights is necessary, a valid full driving licence is also required
Experience in additional Building control functions such as dangerous structures, demolitions and enforcement
You will be required to have in-depth knowledge, understanding and ability to apply current Building Regulations, associated legislation and codes of Practice.
Experience and understanding of quality managements systems, performance management and continues improvement
Full corporate membership of a relevant professional institute is required
Should this position lead to permanent they offer a starting salary of- £35k per annum based on working a 37 hour week
