SERVICE ADVISOR

Are you a successful Service Advisor looking for a new challenge, or an experienced Service Advisor ready to take the next step in your career?

D&D Autos (Ashford) Ltd are currently looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to join our busy service desk based in Ashford Kent.

D&D Autos has been established for over 30 years and is an award winning, family owned MOT, servicing and repair business that has built its reputation on providing unbeatable levels of customer care and high-quality workmanship.

We pride ourselves in working on multiple brands of vehicle, using the latest technology. Our state of the art premises has 13 workshop bays and 2 drive-through MOT bays

If you are looking for a change and are enthusiastic at the thought of working with multiple brands of vehicles, then please read on.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Meeting and greeting customers
- Booking in vehicles, arranging alternative transport as and when required
- Workshop loading
- Liaising with the workshop and customers
- Providing quotations
- Advising the customer on any repair issues and costs, gaining authority for any works carried out
- Promoting additional work, services and warranties
- Ensuring all vehicles are ready for collection as agreed
- Invoicing, arranging and taking payment
- Assisting and overseeing a team of Service Advisors
- Monitoring and maintaining operating systems and standards
- Provide support to the Service Manager, e.g reporting, efficiencies, profitability, customer satisfaction, implementing new systems

Key Skills Required:

- Previous or current experience in customer service, motor trade experience is preferable
- Friendly approach to customers and an engaging personality with great attention to detail offering the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- A self-motivated professional who can prioritise their workload and remain focused whilst working under pressure
- Ability to liaise with people on all levels
- ‘Customer Care’ mentality
- Ability to use own initiative and judgement
- Highly organised and capable of multi-tasking
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn and use new software efficiently and effectively
- Hold a clean full UK drivers licence
