Our biopharmaceutical client develops innovative medicines for the treatment of immune-related disorders and cancer. They are currently seeking an experienced Immunologist to join their team.
Overview:
The successful candidate will work on projects that span the drug development space. The role will involve two main functions:
1) The design, monitoring and analysis of in vivo studies taking place at external partner organizations and the ex vivo analysis of study samples.
2) The design, performance, analysis and reporting of in vitro immunology studies
The role would suit an experienced researcher looking to progress their career in the biopharmaceutical sector and work in areas of cutting-edge drug development.
Key responsibilities
* Design, analysis, monitoring and reporting of in vivo studies being performed at external partners
* Analysis of ex vivo samples using a variety of immunological techniques
* Managing relationships with external partners to deliver high quality data
* Visiting external partners to monitor ongoing studies
* Design, analysis, performance and reporting of in vitro immunology studies
* Working as part of a global project team and being accountable for given workstreams
Minimum requirements
* Significant experience in immunology/immuno-oncology
* Extensive experience of murine models of cancer
* Extensive experience of the design, analysis and reporting of results from in vivo studies
* Extensive experience of the analysis of ex vivo samples using a variety of immunological techniques
* Experience of design, performance and analysis of in vitro immunology assays
* Experience of the design, performance and analysis of multiparameter flow cytometry
Desirable attributes
* Experience of monitoring studies at contract research organisations
* Experience of plate-based pharmacology assays
