FLEXIBANK TEAM SUPPORT WORKERS

£8.74 per hour

Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19. It is situated in 13 acres of parkland just a few hundred metres from the sandy beaches of Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.

We are looking for Flexibank staff to provide support in our residential homes. In this role you will work alongside colleagues in the care of a group of students in a residential setting. The hours are flexible, and you are paid for the hours you work.

Awareness of the needs of, and experience of working with children and young people with Learning Difficulties, Autism and Challenging Behaviour will be a distinct advantage.

Some of the hours available include split shifts, some starts from 7.30am, some finishes at 10.00pm and weekend work.

No formal qualifications are necessary for this post, but you will be required to commit to achieving Residential Childcare QCF Level 3 within 2 years of beginning employment at the school.
