We are currently seeking a Software Tester to work within a dynamic, cross-functional and multi-national team comprising of Product Managers, Developers and Software Testers, working within an Agile fast-paced type environment to deliver high quality software releases.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with Developers, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to establish the testing requirements of the team.
• Design and execute tests for a range of different software products ranging in scope from complex analytical data structures from Amazon
Web Services (AWS), to intricate data API’s as well as enquiry systems, CMS, and stock management platforms.
• Record problems and issues in accordance with the project’s problem and issue management plans
• Taking part in agile ceremonies and planning activities
• Work with the application team and/or client to resolve any issues that arise in the testing process
• Working with your team to build quality in to the delivery process.

Key experience/skills:

• Black box testing/functional testing/integration/system testing/release testing/exploratory testing/cross browser testing
• Working experience with the full end to end cycle of testing, writing test scripts and executing tests, as well as control over environment
management
• Good combination of both manual and automation testing experience is advantageous
• Understanding of/experience in design and implementation of test frameworks using PHP for testing web apps
• Proven ability to apply behaviour driven testing (BDD) or test driven development (TDD) approaches
• Experience in supporting and maintaining test environments
• Experience in planning, writing and maintaining test suites
• Experience in requirements analysis and feedback
• Experience across testing layers – manual, UI, service
• Proficient in using Linux CLI
• Working understanding of Bash scripting
• Understanding of Version Control Systems (GIT)
• Skilled in Atlassian based products – JIRA Confluence and Bitbucket
• Working understanding of Selenium/Selenium Grid environments and using CI tools such as Jenkins and TeamCity
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle processes such as Waterfall and Agile (Scrum)
• Proficient with PHP platform-based web applications and good skills in writing SQL queries with MySQL
• Understanding of Docker and AWS technologies
• Good understanding/experience of Browser Stack/Cross Browser Testing/Sauce Labs

• Hold an ISEB-ISTQB Certificate in Foundation/Agile (Desirable)
