We are a residential care home for the elderly with dementia. The home is in a leafy part of Chatham which has been established for over 30 years with an enviable reputation. Our aim is to care for the elderly with dignity and respect providing excellence in care. The home is 20 bedded with an extension to commence in August 2018 for a further 7 beds specialising in dementia care only. We are now looking to recruit a experienced registered care home manager to manage the business and the care of these vulnerable people to the very high standards they have come to expect from everyone at this home. Our requirements are that you have plenty of experience in this field, you have your level 5 ideally or are working towards it. You have a very professional approach whilst having a sympathetic approach to staff and residents. You must live locally, own and drive a car. This is purely so that you are able to get to the home in an emergency. You must be computer literate, be trained in all mandatory training, are able to train and develop your staff to reach the standards expected. You must be fully aware of all HR procedures. We do have support in this area should it be needed. Your knowledge of the CQC regulations and requirements must be at the forefront of your job description. You should be flexible in your approach to this role as the industry demands this. We require a friendly but hardworking person to fill this role. Interviews will be held at the home.
