We are currently looking to recruit experienced reach stacker drivers to work for my client situated on the eastern Docks.
Applicants must have had previous experience on a similar machine.

Work involves working within a cargo environment loading containers on and off lorries.

Working hours are:-
4 on 4 off rota, 6am to 2pm, then rotating too 2pm to 10pm.

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be physically fit, and be prepared to work in a busy and high paced environment.
Due to the location of my clients site -
ALL staff are required to take a drug and alcohol screening test. There is a zero tolerance on any illegal drugs or excessive use of alcohol. The test will be carried out prior to you being offered work and you will be subject to random tests throughout the year. If any tests come back as a fail , work will stop immediately and you will not be allowed to work at any site within the docks.
You will also have a basic vetting which covers:-
Identity checks
Address Checks
Criminal Record Checks
If you believe you will not pass the test/vetting, please DO NOT apply.
For this role you DO need to have a valid pallet truck licence but you MUST experience with ride on machinery.
Pay Rates:-
£9.00 PH - £9.56 after 13 weeks
We also pay an additional £1 ph for working between 10pm and 6am, plus double time for bank holidays, and double time for working longer than a 12 hour shift.

Own transport unless you live in Dover, this is due to some of the start and finish times.
Training consists of 4 days, which involves assessments on the reach stacker, with on the job training. Times for training are 7am to 4pm which are normally Tuesday to Friday.

This role is long term/regular ongoing work, and you will be working for J & J Recruitment at my clients site.
