Hours: 37 hours per week, 18 month Fixed Term Contract
Locations: Hadlow College

We have an exciting new opportunity for a self-motivated individual to take on a Level 2 Apprenticeship course within the Health and Safety Department at Hadlow College.

Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, the purpose of the role will be to provide support to the Estates/Health and Safety department. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that the health and safety department runs effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will be expected to administer, update and review Hadlow College’s health and safety policies, procedures and records. The college will provide the appropriate training and development courses.

Applicants must have previous experience in an administrative support role as well as experience of working with Microsoft Office applications and online IT products and services. In addition, a Health and Safety qualification at level 2 or higher or an Administration NVQ Level 2 or above (or equivalent) would be desirable.

As well as a contributory pension scheme, health cash plan and free car parking, this post also attracts 20 days holiday each year (excluding bank holidays).

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK. Where applicable, a prohibition check will be carried out.
