We are looking for committed individuals to work a split shift 5 days per week (Monday – Friday) with the possibilities of extra hours/days during busy peak times. Standard starting time is 4am with the morning shift finishing around 9am (later when busy). The afternoon Shift commences at 16:00 finishing around 19:30 (later when busy).

Within this role we require employees to organise and sort parcels to prepare for our team of delivery drivers to come in to a pre-arranged bay to organise their deliveries.

The drivers need continued support with the organisation and loading of their vehicles to get them out of the depot as early and efficiently as possible.

We will then require a sweep and tidy of the depot once the delivery team have departed.

In the evening, we require assistance with the unloading of the vehicles which will be full of parcels collected from our customers. We will also require our line haul vehicles to be loose loaded of the parcels via a conveyor belt system. The Line haul vehicles must be loaded in a time efficient and safe manor.

Rate of Pay - £7.83 + (To be reviewed after probationary period).

Key Responsibilities and Requirements;

- To handle all parcels with care either when moved manually or with our machinery.
- To monitor and prevent damage to parcels, machinery and vehicles and report any identified damages to a manager.
- Follow Health and Safety Policies ensuring and maintaining a safe, tidy and comfortable work environment.
