This is an exciting new instruction for an HR Assistant with a key client in the area and is being presented on a long term fixed term contract basis until 31st March 2019.
This is a pivotal position within the HR function where you will be providing high quality and comprehensive HR support services to colleagues.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking and providing advice and guidance on a range of HR administrative processes and duties for example, will include but is not limited to:
Recruitment and selection
Administering leavers
Producing contracts of employment and other formal stencil letters (ie. drafting of offer letters/contracts etc).
Maintaining employee files, HR systems and general HR data.
Drafting recruitment advertisement and advertising vacancies
Preparing interview packs
Reviewing shortlisting paperwork
Lots of liaison with various recruiting Managers
Updating the structure chart
Processing any contract changes
Attending selection interviews
You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the payroll system (data entry), inputting manual claims and ensuring all payroll changes are input in line with deadlines to ensure all staff are paid correctly, and on time.
Knowledge and previous demonstrable experience within payroll and/or recruitment is ESSENTIAL for this role alongside excellent customer service, communication and general interpersonal skills plus the all-important ability to act on own initiative!
You will be working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday and the client is offering an attractive salary banding, largely dependent on experience (£18,700 - £20,600).
We are ideally looking for someone to start in July 2018 but CV’s are urgently invited.
