Our Client a successful, rapidly expanding Plant Hire company have a depot in Rochester, Kent and have one of the largest and youngest fleets available. This includes over 7,000 assets worth over £150m, with an industry leading team that has received investment of £100m to expand their depots and enhance the fleet. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to operate from their Rochester Depot to drive their business around this territory.

To manage a team of engineers and carry out planned maintenance activities to ensure that the plant machinery operates safely and reliably. The maintenance will include PDIs, safety LOLER inspections, servicing and general damage repairs. Sustaining high workshop standards and 5s is also a key part of the role.



Ideally you will possess:

An NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent
The ability to demonstrate a varied knowledge of plant machinery
Proven experience on plant vehicle repairs with an analytical approach to problem solving
The ability to delegate and influence staff
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Excellent literacy and numeracy
A full valid Driving licence with no more than 3 points

A competitive salary based on a 45 hour working week in the region on £35000.00 - £40000.00 depending on experience
