Established for over 50 years, Husk UK Ltd operate a large independent vehicle workshop and repair centre specialising in servicing and maintenance of all types of cars and commercial vehicles. Based on the main A2 in between Canterbury and Dover and operating a 24 hour call out service. We are ideally located for clients operating in the East Kent area and for vehicles that are transiting the port of Dover.
Our 7 bay workshop is fully equipped with modern day tooling and diagnostics and our team of fully skilled technicians are familiar with all major vehicle brands. Whether it is an annual service and MOT, timed mileage service or an ad hoc repair, Husk aim to provide a bespoke service to meet and exceed our clients expectations. As an independent workshop we offer a fast flexible service at a competitive price.
Husk UK Ltd is also a Service Agent for MAN Truck & Bus and provides warranty, contract maintenance and Mobile 24 breakdown services.
Main function of the job
To conduct new business development sales and nurture the clients to maximise the business potential. To assist the workshop reception team with administrative support.
Role
In line with the continued expansion we are looking to strengthen our Sales efforts and appoint a new Sales Executive.
The successful candidate will proactively develop new business and build and nurture existing client relationships to maximise the potential.
- New business development through telesales and occasional field sales
- Key Account Management
- Generating & Calculating quotations
- Drafting and sending appropriate sales correspondence
- Follow up calls
- Managing sales process through to closure
- Developing long lasting relationships with new clients
- Ensuring that the quotes are completed promptly and are followed up to maximise conversion
Experience / skills required
• Proven Telesales experience.
• Proven success of calculating and submitting quotes.
• Experience of negotiating with clients.
• Key account management experience with proven success of developing relationships.
• Good administrative skills.
• Good numerical skills.
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Character and personal attributes
• Confident communicator. (Written and verbal)
• A positive and engaging personality.
• Can do sales / customer service orientation.
• Strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail.
