A Junior Web Developer with one years WordPress experience is sought for a digital agency in Kent. You will be involved in the coding and technical development to build mobile first responsive sites using the most up to date technologies and frameworks.

Must have hands on coding in order to create responsive email templates that work across all platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Kent based Digital agency as a Junior Web Developer where you will be working with the latest web technologies in order to create and develop websites. You will also be given the opportunity to broaden your knowledge within the Web Development field.

If you have 12 months experience working with WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, PHP, Bootstrap and Foundation and you want to work in a rapidly expanding friendly yet driven environment then this is for you.

Previous experience with CSS pre-processors such as LESS would be a distinct advantage as would experience of working with SQL databases and Photoshop. Ideally you will have previously worked in a Digital Agency.

As part of your day to day duties you will be responsible for producing responsive websites from scratch using the latest frameworks,as well as bug fixing and quality assurance. Part of your duties will be to integrate static websites into WordPress while staying up to date with new trends and web technologies while adhering to coding standards. You will be given the opportunity to contribute new ideas as part of a team. Additionally you will be responsible for setting up servers, maintaining existing website code and managing the server and daily backups
