Are you a junior buyer who is excellent at forecasting customer trends and being at the forefront of high street trends? Do you have an obsession with beautiful interiors?

This exciting new role would be ideal for you, if you are a junior level buyer who has a passion for design and furnishings who is looking to push their career further and include travel. The role will be concentrated on developing the textiles area of the business.

All About the Role!
Dynamically work towards delivering the best product, on time and at the best margin. Interacting with the Studio Design team through the whole product cycle. Networking, travelling overseas visiting factories and attending trade shows in the UK and overseas.

You will be working in partnership with merchandising, design and sourcing, utilising data to maximise sales, reviewing top and low sell products. Working with National Account managers, attending and presenting at customer meetings. Monitoring market trends and competitor analysis

All About YOU!

You MUST have worked at a junior buyer level, ideally within textiles or any transferrable creative design or interior products. Possess excellent negotiation, customer service and consulting skills.

Do you have a thorough understanding of the product journey and have strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to build excellent working relationships with senior members of the business?

Can you share your knowledge effectively and be able to cut through complexity, to think laterally about the brands and how they fit into the wider product offering across the business? Be willing and able to undertake International business travel UK. You need to have excellent working knowledge of Excel and hold a Full UK driving license.

Proactively trade the season, managing uncertain trading patterns (commercial/market awareness). Will you bring with you, your creativity and love of product, textiles, fabric and finish? Can you fully demonstrate an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of relevant International brands to ensure that you are creating and sourcing appropriate products?

Salary: Dependent upon Experience up to £25,000
Location: Sittingbourne
