To work FOH at the FHI you must be; smartly presented and well spoken, naturally customer focused, friendly and polite, whilst able to pick up hospitality skills quickly and have fluent English if it is not your first language.

Additionally, you need to smile, be happy and a good sense of humour is preferable.

Packages for FOH roles:
Salaries based on experience, always meet national minimum.
Shared tips.
Staff discount up to 20% on Food, Drink and Accommodation.
Meals provided for shifts in excess of 6 hours.
3% Pension plan available for permanent staff.
Standard Contracts are for agreed minimum weekly hours. Employees can take extra shifts if desired when available.
Zero hour contracts only available for Temporary staff if mutually preferably to both us and the candidate.
Shift rota's published online minimum 6 weeks in advance.
28 days a year holiday for full time, pro rata for part time.

Event Bar Staff (Part time) - Position now open
Hours a week: 7+ (Flexible)
Available Shifts:
Select at least 1 regular shift 6.30pm - 1/1.30am Friday OR Saturday night.
Additional shifts can then be picked up on any event date for 6.30pm - 1/1.30am - maximum of 3 shifts per week available. Some additional day work is also available.
How our Event Staff shift patterns work: We will give you our event calendar now for the year (over 100 dates) and you select the shifts you can take. You must commit to working 1 Friday or Saturday night, then any additional shifts you wish to take you are welcome to do so. Most available shifts are weekends + evenings, but some day time shifts are also available mid week.

Front of House Staff (Running table service) - Position now open
Days per week: 3,4 or 5 days a week to suit applicant but must inc. a Saturday or Sunday

Other duties which may be required: Waiting Tables/Glass collecting.
Candidates must: Be aged 18 years or over.

Weekend Front of House Staff - Position now open
Hours a week: 15-20
Shifts: Saturday 11am - 11pm and Sunday 11am - 7pm

Candidates must: Be aged 18 years or over.

Bar Supervisor (Part time, Evenings Only)
Hours a week: 8 - 24
Set times/days: Part time - Evenings only - contracted dates available in advance, all shifts available on dates we have events/functions. Mostly Friday/Saturday nights but also some mid week events.
Shift times: Start between 6pm and 7pm, finish 1am.

End date: Permanent.
Main duties to include: Supervising Event/Bar Staff, overseeing event spaces to ensure customer satisfaction, safety and damage prevention. Ensuring customer needs are met to a high quality standard, and that all event staff are kept to task. Locking up the building at the end of the shift, and being responsible for the team/event after the duty manager has departed.
Other duties which may be required: Serving drinks/taking out food as necessary during busy periods.
Candidates must: Be aged 18 years or over, and have basic team leading skills/demonstrate they can take charge.
