BHD Architects LLP is a well-established medium sized practice based in Sevenoaks, Kent. We have a varied portfolio of projects and we are passionate about design. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Architect or Post Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our Practice and genuinely friendly team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects and this will include managing delivery within agreed resource and cost limits. This role will cover all stages of projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge of UK construction industry legislation, practice and procedures
• A strong design portfolio
• Use to a varying workload and tight deadlines
• Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD
• The ability to take responsibility, meet project deadlines, to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as your role will require you to liaise with clients/contractors/consultants/building control on a day to day basis.
