Broadstreet House provides high quality residential care and support to 18 Adults with Learning Disabilities in Lyminge, Folkestone Kent. We are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our residential home. As a Senior Support Worker you will need to be reliable, friendly and professional. A team player with great communication skills and a flexible approach to work. A NVQ 3 in Care and previous relevant experience is essential. You will also need to have completed all Mandatory training.The Senior Team are responsible for taking on additional responsibilities whilst supporting staff and residents.
Main Duties will include:
• Providing personal Care
• Organising and leading a team of Support Workers
• Supporting and encouraging the well-being of residents
• Assisting residents with all activities of daily life
• Admin and reports
• 37.5 hours per week comprising of 5 x 7.5 hour shifts including evenings and weekends.
• In addition, you may be required to do 1 x sleep-in per week
