Our client is part of a huge multi-Site PLC with am enviable reputation for internal training and promotion,  following a recent, positive, restructure a New Position has been identified to provide consistent team leadership across all shift patterns within the Hygiene Department.

Producing Bagged and processed salads for a prestigious retailer can be pretty messy work, your role will be to ensure that your team ensure the mess "disappears" and do so to an extremely high standard, using various machinery and methods. Some of the machinery is huge and requires a full understanding of how to upkeep hygiene in a Food Manufacturing "wet" environment as well as a "lets give it a go" attitude to new ideas and systems (and sort it out if it goes wrong).

Used to working with "Daily/Weekly Operating Report ", IT Literate and experienced in managing and developing a team are paramount as is your ability to think outside of the box.

Typical working hours will be 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday, but as with most roles in food manufacturing, working hours and days will vary from time-to-time in line with business demands.
