Operations Manager, Maidstone

Barker Munro Recruitment, the Kent based Insurance recruitment specialists, are currently working with a fantastic organisation based on the outskirts of Maidstone who are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to their business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled insurance professional to manage a team of insurance professionals and with day to day management of the division. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• The contribution of the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the overall business
• Overseeing team performance and ensuring the department is running efficiently
• Arrange training activities and manage training strategies
• Responsible for the oversight of the implementation of projects within the business to 'business as usual' activity delivering ROI
• Involved in recruitment within the team and attend interviews
• Liaising with underwriting departments
• Maintain up to date compliance

To be successful for this position you will ideally be able to demonstrate an understanding of the insurance industry whilst also demonstrating strong decision making and leadership skills across an ever changing business model. You will also be able to set, meet and exceed targets and have a strong customer centric focus.
