Location: Canterbury
Hours:37.5 hours per week
Salary: £20,278 - £22,897 gross per annum
Contract: Fixed Term until September 2019

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to work for the Aspirations service. This service is a Big Lottery Fund (BLF)/European Social Fund (ESF) Building Better Opportunities (BBO) project. It is designed to increase wellbeing, resilience and skills, and to provide a pathway to work, volunteering or work-like aspirations for people who have had mental health issues which have been a barrier to work. Aspirations includes partners from the voluntary sector, arts, sports and community groups is delivered across Kent and East Sussex.
The Aspirations Finance Assistant will assist in coordinating, recording and compiling financial data from across the Aspirations Service. This role will involve regular liaison work with delivery partners & working closely with Porchlight Finance.
The Aspirations Finance Assistant will work closely with the Aspirations Compliance Coordinator with assessing financial data and assisting in retaining and archiving documentation across the project. This role will include supporting the Contracts Manager with generating quarterly budgets/reconciliations and helping Aspirations staff with any financial queries.
