Established oak framed building company offers vacancies for wood workers within their expanding workshop based at Lamberhurst in Kent.
Responsibilities:
Reading drawings & taking from cutting lists to manufacture a range of components and traditional oak framed buildings.
Description:
To calculate, cut & manufacture elements of framing using a range of traditional methods carried out either by hand, portable & fixed machinery or digitally. Applicants must be able to work with initiative both independently and as part of a team whilst adhering to Health & Safety standards & company policies.
Requirements:
The successful applicants will have:
• Transport & clean driving licence.
• Ability to read & work from drawings.
• Reasonable experience of hand & power tools.
• Reasonable understanding of English & maths.
• Willingness to adhere to H&S standards.
• Pride in good workmanship.
• Good physical condition.
• Desire to succeed within our ever-expanding company.
Carpentry experience is preferred however training & guidance will be provided.
