The role of volunteer unit administrator is to provide administration support within the volunteer unit. The unit is responsible for training, deploying and supporting voluntary workers from the local community, within the objectives of KSS CRC.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input, maintain and update relevant data using database applications in a way which facilitates statistical extraction. Ensure statistical information is collated and presented as required.
Communicate with volunteer bureaus and other identified groups to ensure up to date information and continued registration for the recruitment of volunteers.
Provide administrative support for volunteer recruitment, training and development events ensuring up to date and relevant communications are in place.
Maintain contact and liaise with volunteers, staff and partners when necessary communicating effectively in writing and orally to assist and enable service delivery Co-ordinate content for ‘The Volunteer’ quarterly newsletter for submission to the communications team.
Book and co-ordinate meetings, training events and conferences. Attend meetings, take and distribute minutes and ensure action points are followed up Take clear and concise messages and action if necessary.
Contribute to the continuous development of the Volunteer Unit. When required attend volunteering events to promote and assist the recruitment of volunteers.
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety and Quality Management.
We are looking for an experienced administrator who can demonstrate good communication and organisational skills.
