Chef de Partie to join a passionate and successful team situated in an idyllic location on the outskirts of Canterbury.

45 hours per week on rota

Our client offers an excellent on boarding process to make you feel part of the team from day one and this is followed by a three month training plan to ensure you have all of the knowledge and skills required to complete your job to the highest standards.

You will be working in a vibrant busy environment with seating for 150 covers in their beautiful restaurant, bar and garden. The restaurant offers an informal menu of fresh, seasonal and flavoursome food and is proud to say it has a very good reputation locally.

The ideal candidate

* Energetic, passionate and customer focused
* A minimum of 2 years experience as a full time chef
* Good presentation skills
* Stock and waste control
* Ordering from suppliers when required
* Good knowledge of hygiene and H&S standards
* Commercial and business awareness

The Role

Reporting to the Head Chef you will support them in the effective running of the kitchen and associated areas, ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of delivery.

Responsibilities will include the cooking and presentation of seasonal and special menus, using fresh, locally source produce. Assisting with menu planning.

Maintaining a positive and pro active attitude at all times you will actively seek to improve the skills of yourself and the team.
