£9.75 per hour, plus enhancements
Part time – 60hrs over 3 week rota (averaging 20hrs per week)

Demelza Hospice Care for Children is a charity providing hospice services for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and support for their families across Kent, East Sussex and South East London.

We seek a Cook for our South East London hospice to deliver high quality nutritious menu options and to meet the special dietary needs of the children and young people who access our service.

You will have an NVQ Level 2 in Catering or an equivalent qualification, and a current Level 2 in Food Safety.

You must have an understanding of confidentiality with the ability to manage a changing workload in a busy environment.

Knowledge of special diets and previous experience of working in a child or healthcare setting would be desirable.

This role will require some occasional weekend, evening and public holiday working. Hours will normally be worked between 8.30am and 7.00pm.
