FULL-TIME TRAVEL AGENT
£15,488 Basic Salary+ Travel Incentives + Commission. OTE: £20K
An independent travel agency and offer ABTA bonded holiday packages to include cruises, city breaks, ski, adventure holidays and safari experiences. They work with well-known travel providers, for example, TUI, Thomas Cook, Funway, Sandals, Fred Olsen, Silversea, Saga, P&O Cruises and lots more.
Hours: 35 per week - Monday to Saturday 9 am - 5 pm.
(If you work a Saturdays you have a day off during the week to compensate).
As a Travel Consultant you will be responsible for :
• Providing travel information to clients.
• Managing any customer problems/issues.
• Making bookings for customers.
• Getting to know the customer to find out their needs.
• Displaying promotional material.
• Liaising with various tour and holiday operators.
• Using the customer database for promotions.
• Carrying out customer surveys.
• Booking travel insurance.
• Distributing travel itineraries.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication skill.
- Current or previous travel agency experience.
- Warm and engaging communication skills.
