Our Client is looking for a Quality Assistant to join their quality team. Hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 16.30.
This will be a temp to perm position after 10 weeks for the right candidate, Free Parking on site.
Duties will include
Ensuring company standards are met.
Data input into system and testing products for mirco/chemical/allergens.
Maintaining Testing Database.
Dealing with customer requests, including CoA's / CoC's.
Lab equipment calibration and recording results.
Preparing samples for Organoleptic Testing.
Working closely with production / warehouse and customer service departments.
Experience required is
Laboratory experience (chemical and or Microbiological)
Previous experience of working with food Manufacturing environment.
Level 2 qualification in Food Safety, HACCP and Allergens.
Personal Qualities
Keen to learn and take on new responsibilities
Enthusiasm.
Good organisational, planning and problem solving.
Good Literacy and analytical Skills.
