Software Support Analyst / Team Leader - SQL

Our well-established client provides specialist software system support, implementation, development and consultancy services. We are ideally seeking a confident candidate with good management skills alongside good database and SQL skills (interrogating data, running queries, problem solving, etc.).
As Team Leader you will;
- Lead and prioritise the Application Support team’s work load
- Strong customer service and support focus with a desire to deliver a high quality service
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ensure there are robust procedures and processes within the application support function remit
- Ability to communicate issues to a technical and business audience
- To examine potential areas for Service Improvement and raise proposals with Consulting / Operations Manager
Support Analyst Duties;
· Handle helpdesk calls supporting specialist software
· Log and record all support cases and ensure that they are prioritised in accordance with the SLAs
· Ensure that all actions are recorded in the Helpdesk system
· Investigate the work and resolve all software issues in accordance with SLAs
· Provide users with timely updates regarding their call
· Advise the user on appropriate action and record all case actions
· Identify and escalate any calls to ensure SLAs are met
