General Sales Assistant – Johnsons Garden Centre

Johnsons is a privately-owned family run business which has enjoyed continual growth, investment and expansion. The Garden/Pet Centre team are all very driven and hardworking, they are looking for someone with the same values to join them in this fantastic fun working environment.

We are looking to add experienced Sales Assistants to our rapidly expanding Garden Centre. You will be working in a friendly environment, following a structured rota.

As well as the primary activities of customer service, till cover and sales representation, the position involves watering, weeding and plant maintenance, with daily cleaning responsibilities, stock replenishment and merchandising. Ensuring the work place is tidy, clean and well presented at all times.

• Excellent with plant knowledge and communication skills when advising customers

Experience within a customer facing role is essential, a good working knowledge of outdoor plants and how to care for them is desirable. Full training will be provided on specific product knowledge. You will be expected to carry out any and all duties throughout the garden centre, whenever required.

Hours;
15 hours per week, Sun, Mon, Wed. 10am-3pm
Or
6 hours per week, Sunday 10am-4pm

Salary: £7.83 per hour
