Position Expectations
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Administrator to join the Management Systems team of this extremely reputable organisation. The Management Systems department plays a key role in our continued success by ensuring the maintenance and continual improvement of robust Management Systems to ISO9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 standards. The systems drive the business to achieve its objectives, relating to product or service quality, operational efficiency, environmental performance and health & safety in the workplace.
The primary focus of this role is to support the Management Systems Coordinator in maintaining the Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety systems through monitoring, review and on-going improvements. This will include maintaining the Document Control System, coordinating the internal auditing programme and collating quality, environmental and health and safety performance data for internal and external reporting. The role will also be responsible for administrative support to QA and Operations as required.
Candidate requirements
With an interest in management systems, health and safety or environmental factors, you must have first class administrative skills, showing close attention to detail and a proactive approach to your day to day responsibilities. You will engage in activities across the company, so confidence in the manufacturing and laboratory environments and the ability to build excellent working relationships with all departments is essential. Experience of working with systems from data entry to reporting would be beneficial as the Document Control System is central to managing the role effectively.
A working knowledge and understanding of ISO and OHSAS standards and their implementation from previous employment would be an advantage, as would auditing experience, however full training in these areas can be given.
