An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Addaction’s Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Services in Kent as we are recruiting a Team Leader to work within our Young Person’s Service. You will be part of a highly successful team co-designing and developing the service with a range of stakeholders including Young People. You will manage a locality staff team ensuring they are well informed, inspired and engaged with Addaction’s strategic objectives and be the specialist treatment lead for the service ensuring evidence based practice and NDTMS compliance are embedded within the service and performance targets are met.

This is a dual responsibility post, providing line management to our team of proactive and enthusiastic practitioners whilst also delivering interventions to young people.

Applicants should possess excellent communication, organisation and casework skills. They should be able to lead a team and have experience of working with young people presenting with complex needs.

The role necessitates effective partnership working with other agencies and candidates should be equally skilled in engaging young people and professionals alike. This is a full time position and some flexible working may be required.

Possession of, or working towards, a relevant professional qualification is essential as is having a car and a full clean driving license.

Contract End Date: 31December 2022 with a possible extension for a further 2 years
