Working in a busy and forward thinking ecommerce team, the position will play a key role in supporting our Adobe technology stack. Working day to day on our PPC campaigns, Adobe and Google Analytics as well as enhancing personalisation across multiple channels, a key focus will be on the customer and online experiences with multi variant testing to provide the best possible user experience online.
Reporting in to the Paid Search & Analytics Manager, your principle duties would include:
• Taking ownership of selected daily and weekly reporting within the marketing team.
• Assisting with the monitoring, optimising and reporting of PPC / display campaigns.
• Frequent liaison with agencies and the marketing communications team to ensure integrated campaigns are executed smoothly and on time.
• Administrative tasks and support across various technology and software tools utilised.
• Support, implement and report on the MVT strategy and targeted user experiences
• Work with the ecommerce team to enhance and improve customer’s online experience by continually optimising search using customer journey insight and analysis to inform changes
• Proactively seek and identify opportunities for innovation on site and within business processes.
• Undertake competitor research, identify emerging trends, examine customer journey and behaviour to help inform digital thinking and enhance PPC, display and MVT plans.
• Continue to review and evolve customer journeys and key influences of the experience from top level browsing through to conversion rate optimisation within the booking process.
• Ensure a relentless focus on the customer; proactively displaying multi-Channel thinking and behaviours to drive a continuously improved customer centric experience.
• Supporting the marketing team and wider business departments with any ad-hoc requests.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
• Analytical mind, comfortable working with data and numbers.
• Good attention to detail, a keen sense of taking pride in their work and providing an excellent level of service to other team members and departments.
• Good balance between using own initiative and working within existing processes, to ensure projects and analysis are provided in a timely manner.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks at any one time.
• An enthusiastic and flexible attitude.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Analytical software and MVT tools.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIRED
MINIMUM DESIRABLE
• Marketing, Digital or Information related qualification. • Degree educated.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
• Experience working within PPC and display advertising.
• Strong commercial focus and customer marketing experience
• Good communication skills and proven numerical ability
• Strong organisational skills
• Can deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment, whilst working to strict deadlines and prioritising work
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Analytical software.
• Energy and enthusiasm
• The self-confidence to brief agencies and the marketing team
Experience working within a digital marketing department.
• Experience working with Adobe products including Analytics, Target, Media Optimizer.
• Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
RELEVANT CAREER HISTORY/EXPERIENCE NECESSARY TO FULFILL THE JOB ROLE
Experience within a similar role
Tour Operation or travel experience (desirable)
