The Role: Maintenance Manager

The development of systems and standards to deliver world-class standards of housekeeping within the engineering environment using 5S principles.
Procurement of engineering materials, goods and services to support the maintenance and improvement of plant, buildings and utilities.
To develop a maintenance system to facilitate planned preventative maintenance and effective engineering stock control.
People Management, motivation and structured development of the team through performance review to ensure delivery of objectives through Team-working.
The design, implementation and management of capital improvement projects aimed at improving manufacturing capability.
To make sure the site conforms to all Company and Factory Control Procedures.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
Promote & Apply Continuous Improvement tools, techniques & methodology.
Ensure Compliance with the Manufacturing Budget.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Maintenance Manager

A recognised engineering qualification
A high degree of self-motivation.
Demonstrable supervisory experience.
The ability to understand, accept and achieve targets and deadlines.
Demonstrable organisational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures.
Leadership and man management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team.
Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem solving techniques, provide solutions and delegate responsibility.
A proven project management skills history.
Significant experience of managing in a large engineering /production environment

As an Energy Data Analyst you will handle and analyse complex data from energy bills and various electronic sources. Using specialist SystemsLink software you will find and resolve data errors and produce reports to customers. You will also assist in producing annual Carbon Reduction Commitment and Greenhouse Gas reports for customers along with invoice validation reports.

The key elements of the role are:
*Handling large quantities of data accurately
*Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone, email and occasional meetings
*Learning and understanding the complexities of the energy industry
*Well developed Excel skills and ability to learn our specialised systems

You will work within the Customer Relations Team, reporting to the Customer Relationship Manager.

You will be expected to demonstrate numeracy, accuracy, excellent customer relations, a flexible approach, commitment, and the ability and desire to progress your career within LASER. Experience with analysing energy bills or using an energy monitoring system would be a distinct advantage.
