I have a great role for an Insurance Sales Administrator to join a small yet hardworking and sociable team of 8. The ideal candidate will have a record of consistently achieving sales targets and delivering the very best customer service. You will be the first point of contact for inbound and outbound calls, converting warms leads and speaking with clients/customers who have registered an interest in the service offered.

Salary £17,000pa + onsite parking, salary review after 6 months, pension, holiday and a bonus scheme with realistic earnings in the first year of an additional £2000pa

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-5.30pm or 10.30am-7pm you will be required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am-4om

Duties;
Telephone sales (warm not cold) and customer service calls
Produce and issue quotations and new business documents
Follow up and convert leads using OGI diary system
Outbound telephone calls including call backs
Data entry into the required system
Scan incoming documentation and apply to correct customer e-file
Deal with any MTAs , renewals and cancellations as required
Email estimated premium confirmations

You will be expected to demonstrate a solid level of knowledge of the following:
• Server networking (DHCP, DNS, RRAS, TCP/IP)
• Firewalling (Common port numbers, routing, network fault diagnosis)
• Remote working (RRAS, VPN, RDP)
• User support (Account unlocks, account creation, password changes)
• Exchange/O365 (Mailbox creation, distribution groups)
• Printer support (Network printing, common troubleshooting)

• Experienced problem solver.

About the Role
• You will be working as part of a dedicated team of engineers within a busy IT company. You will be expected to work through helpdesk tickets and will have the opportunity to go out on site and visit clients.
• The existing team is efficient and friendly as it deals with all kinds of support issues generated by the customer base. There is an approximate 50/50 split of time in and out of the office.
• You will need to thrive on multi-tasking as you complete tasks like installing servers, replacing workstations, resolving OS faults as well as identifying and resolving network connectivity issues.
• You will be given responsibility for your own projects where you will be expected to manage every technical aspect whilst maintaining constant liaison with the client.
• You will primarily use the products and services within our established portfolio to recognise new business opportunities and then escalate them into new sales.
• The role includes making suggestions to the client concerning future improvements in line with their individual business needs.
