Our client based near Biggin Hill in Kent has an exciting opportunity Sales Engineer ideally from a Mechanical engineering background.
Suitable candidates will have a degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering / Chemical discipline with ideally 2 years + relevant work experience.
For this exciting opportunity, our client is looking for an ambitious and focused candidate with the following:
• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Appx. 2 years relevant work history
• Good computer skills including the Microsoft office suite
• The ability to build relationships with customers and work well in a team
As Sales Engineer your role will involve:
• Preparing client quotations for an existing database of customers
• Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
• Sourcing quotations from suppliers
• Liaising with the Technical Engineering department regarding ongoing projects
• Creating and producing marketing material for the company
• Managing the company Website
• Maintaining the company CRM system making sure all the customer accounts are up to date and have all the correct information on them
